From a course perspective I suppose you could give e-learners the option to use a blog as a slick platform to reflect on their every day learning activities. I like the fact that it is structured and would probably provide some inetresting insight into the way one's understanding/engagement (not necessarily in that order) evolves over time -providing they blog...
